Enrollment Process

Applications for the 2024-2025 School Year!

Applications for the 2024-2025 school year will be processed through our website as of February 1, 2024. Applications are not considered complete until the non-refundable application fee ($60 for the first child; $30 each additional child) has been received by LGPNS.

All prospective new families must complete a class visit or tour of our school provided by a teacher prior to enrollment. Please continue to our Admissions page to submit an inquiry, schedule a visit or submit an application.

Priority Enrollment January 17th

The priority enrollment period allows alumni and returning families to submit applications prior to open enrollment.  After the close of the priority enrollment period, all applications are accepted on a first come first serve basis and no priority will be given to returning/alumni families.

General Enrollment Opens February 1st

After the priority enrollment period, enrollment opens to everyone and remaining class spaces will be offered to families in order of application completion date. To ensure fairness to all applicants, an application is not considered complete until the application fee is received via PayPal. Priority is determined based on the date the application was submitted online as long as the the application fee is within 3 business days.

How Classes are Filled

There are a fixed number of spaces in each class. Children are placed in the class for which they are age eligible and developmentally aligned. The youngest class, Terrific Toddlers, is typically made up of toddlers age 12mo-2yo. The Twos & Threes and Threes & Fours classes, are comprised of children ages 2-4 years old. The younger segment of students fill the Twos & Threes class which meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings, while the older portion of students are ready for the Threes & Fours class which meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. The oldest class, Pre-K, is best suited for children aged 4-5.5 years old who are getting ready for kindergarten. When filling classes we take into account the number of applicants, the overall age make-up of each class, your child’s age, parental input, and teacher assessment. Our primary goal is for your child to thrive in their preschool experience. As such we will work to place them in the class that is appropriate for both their physical and emotional development. Please see Classes & Tuition for more details.

Once classes are filled, a waitlist for each class is maintained, honoring the order in which applications were received.

Upon Acceptance

Upon acceptance to LGPNS, two months’ prepaid (non-refundable) tuition is required to secure enrollment in the class. The first of these payments is typically due in April or within two weeks of acceptance if applying after April. The second payment may be made when enrollment forms are due around May 29th.

Financial assistance may be available to families who show financial need.

Notification of Acceptance Status

Applicants who have submitted a completed application will be notified of their enrollment status typically during the first week of April. You will be notified of which class your child has been accepted to or, if the class is full, you will be offered a place on the waitlist for your respective class.
