Our Parents
Los Gatos Parent Nursery School is run by parents who volunteer their time, both inside the classroom and out, in order to maintain the school’s well-earned reputation as an environment in which children learn and thrive.
Our dedicated parent volunteers are the heart of LGPNS. From our Enrollment Team to our Facilities Committee, every person you meet at our school (with the exception of our three incredible teachers!) is a fellow parent working behind the scenes to help our children learn and grow, and help our school thrive. (Fun fact: Did you know our three teachers were once parents at LGPNS themselves?) This hands-on involvement from our parent community not only sustains our school, but also strengthens the bonds within our community and enriches the educational experience for every child.
The ability of LGPNS to fulfill its important mission and remain the special place it is for our children depends upon parents’ active involvement. The key aspects of adult participation at LGPNS are described below.
